Mr. Bump Knit Hat

I am so proud of myself for this one. Yea me! At first it was headed towards disaster. Being that I made this pattern up as I went, I knitted too many rows on top and at the bottom. Therefore, I had to basically take it apart (not completely) and re-do it. The picture doesn't show much justice. Here is what I used:

- E-wrap Stitch
- Red Heart White Yarn Size 4 (doubled)
- Red Heart Black Yarn Size 4 (doubled)
- Lion Brand Charlotte Blue Bulky Yarn Size 6
- 9.5" Green Boye Loom

Little Big Planet Sackboy Hat (#1 attempt)

Okay, I'm proud but not proud of myself on this hat.I made this pattern up as I went. I did however learn the this stitch from a lady on youtube. She kept messing up and some of the video was missing. Therefore it just messed me up completely. I think it was an attempt of a U-stitch. I'm not sure. I do know that I won't be subscribing to anymore of her videos. LOL! This hat fit a little too snug. I'm not done adding the tassles yet either. My fiancee wants me to make him one without earflaps. Again, it was too snug so he couldnt fit this one. I'll also have make it using a bigger loom. Here is what I used

- 9.5" Boye Green Loom
- U-stitch?
- Lion Brand #125 Billings Chocolate Yarn Super Bulky Size 6
- Red Heart #0376 Burgundy Yarn Medium Size 4
- Red Heart #0311 White Yarn Medium Size 4
- 2 Buttons

Lavender Hat

This is a very soft hat. I was making it for someone (an adult, but ran out of yarn. Therefore I had to make it a child's hat. Here is what I used:

- E-wrap Stitch
- 9.5" Boye Green Loom
- Gala Yarn doubled(size & color unknown)
- Red Heart Grey Heather Medium Size 4

Baby Boucle Hat

For this, I doubled the yarn and using the basic E-wrap stitch. I used Baby Bee Lambkins Baby Boucle medium size 4 yarn. The color is #3500 Carrots Oh No!. I semi binded it off by not pulling the strings together just yet. I took some ribbon and weaved it through. Depending on how tight you want the hat, you might not want to weave the ribbon too tight. After I finished that, then I pulled my strings together and tied it securely in two knot.

My Second Hat

I wanted to learn how to knit, but at the time could not find a book to teach me. While searching at Wally World, I came across the Loom Kit. I opened it up just to read the instructions. It looked so easy so I took it home. My first knit came out terrible. LOL! After researching even more, I found out why. The problem was that I had used a medium size 4 yarn by Red Heart. You can find the yarn sizes here: Yarn Sizes I ended up given it a second shot with Lion Brand Homespun bulky size 5 yarn. The color I used was #300 Kansas City Wheat. I've also learned that with thicker yarn you get done faster.
